Administrator

As an administrator, you would make sure the day-to-day office tasks run smoothly. With experience and work-based training, this role could be promoted to Senior Administrator, Secretary or Office Manager.

What would I do?

  • Dealing with the post

  • Answering the telephone

  • Meeting and greeting visitors

  • Filing

  • Ordering stationery supplies

  • Typing letters and reports

  • Setting up meetings and takings minutes

  • Making travel arrangements for staff

Possible duties:

  • Formal qualifications could include an NVQ in Business and Administration, BTEC in Business Administration or Diploma in Administration

  • An Apprenticeship

  • A good level of English and Maths will be required as a minimum​
